Saturday, August 18th 2012: Warren Jackson Hearne & Le Leek Electrique

TONIGHT’S SHOW (no cover):

The stars have aligned and we’re happy to announce we’ll be hosting a very special last minute late night appearance by Warren Jackson Hearne & Le Leek Electrique!  At 1:00 AM!

P.S. It’s happy hour all night!

  • 1:00 AM — Warren Jackson Hearne is a dark songster, chanteur macabre, ringleader of lost circuses and conductor of orphaned orchestras.  He is the Texas answer to Nick Cave’s Bad Seeds, an American Southwest storyteller-in-song with a penchant for the morose.  We’ve seen him roam across the country with his Merrie Murdre of Gloomadeers in the past, leaving everywhere a wake of melancholy and mischief, and now he comes to us with his newest project: Le Leek Electrique.  While the Gloomadeers always seemed to have just stumbled ashore from a pirate ship, Le Leek Electrique sounds more like the resurrected ghosts of an infernal jazz ensemble.  Listen here.
