Sunday, October 14th 2012: Dirtbikes

Tonight’s set order is yet to be determined, so show up at 7PM and see what time your favorite band of the night goes on!

TONIGHT’S SHOW ($8):

  • From their bio: Dirt Bikes fuse gutbucket primal scream, circular-saw riffs, sub-sonic Germanic low end, and a not-so-delicate blend of thump ‘n hump pocket.”  They make fuzzy, sloppy good-time indie rock.  A little like early Dinosaur or Pavement if Bobcat Goldthwait were on vocals.  Listen here.

  • Cave Bros have a couple songs online and they remind us of Dischord punk, or hoarse-voiced Sonic Youth.  Listen here.

  • Pagan Girls aren’t girls and they live in Queens.  That’s all their Facebook page says and their website’s down.

  • Navel are a “Rock | Blues | Psychedelic” band from Switzerland. We say, “Black Rebel Motorcycle Club meets Spiritualized meets Black Keys.”  Listen here.
